Students
At Collingwood we have a strong learning culture. Part of that learning culture is our close working relationships with Bath College, the University of Gloucestershire and John Cabot Academy.
We offer:
• student nursing and paramedic placements, led by the homes Clinic Lead, Amanda Hendy (link to her bio on the staff page)
• T level placements and work experience for Health and Social Care students, lead by the Homes Manager, Lizzy and Deputy Manager, Suzy (link to the bio’s on the staff page)
Every student that comes into Collingwood is met with a smile and the reassurance that we will be there to support you on your learning journey while you’re with us. We endeavour to integrate you into the team and ensure you achieve all your goals and learning outcomes, enabling you to come away from your time with us having a greater understanding of our wonderful sector.
The homes Manager, Lizzy is working alongside Skills of Care on their nursing strategies, and we are recognised as a leading home in our area for student placements. Providing the right support, training and exposure to the Health and Social Care sector that is so important.
